The Robinson Recovery Center is a 24 hour staffed, 40-bed residential substance abuse treatment facility for North Dakota adult male and female residents with a primary focus of treating methamphetamine specific problems. Residents with other substance abuse issues are also admitted, space permitting.
Levels of programming include:
High Intensity Residential – (ASAM Level III.5)
Upon admission each client receives 20 or more hours of programming each week and is expected to be involved in the following group sessions:
- Therapeutic Community
- Cognitive Restructuring
- Exercise Group
- Co-Dependency Group
- Recreation Group
- Chemical Dependency (Matrix Model Groups)
- Relapse Prevention Group
- Spirituality/Grief and Loss Recovery Group
- Living Skills
- Family Group session
- Big Book Study Groups
- Twelve Step Group
Each client is expected to actively participate in self-help support group meetings and obtain a sponsor during the initial two weeks of the program to incorporate in individual sessions with their counselor.
Low Intensity Residential – (ASAM Level III.1)
After the initial two months of involvement in High Intensity Residential Treatment, each client is expected to actively seek employment or volunteer a minimum of 20 hours each week to aid in transition to community and enhance recovery potential upon discharge. This program decreases number of programming hours to five or more hours per week, depending on the needs of the client. Any of the aforementioned groups may continue for the client with the addition of the Matrix Continuing Care Group once weekly.
Discharge plans are made individually and are dependent upon the needs of the client.
