Clinical Director: Full-Time (FARGO)

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION 

ShareHouse, Inc, ranked the “Best Treatment Center in the Region,” is seeking a mission-driven and passionate individual to be our next Clinical Director. This person will oversee substance use and educational programs for all ShareHouse residential and outpatient facilities, maintaining the organization’s vision and philosophy. This role manages compliance within programming in accordance with state requirements, monitors existing contracts, and directs patient care and treatment activities for evaluation/assessment.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provides ongoing guidance and leadership to direct reports in compliance with organization personnel policies.
  • Supports ongoing development of direct reports, conducting performance evaluations and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, retaining and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Works in tandem with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure consistent ShareHouse clinical modality in all clinical services by assisting in quality assurance, policy development, and clinical educational training.
  • Provide clinical guidance and direction to non-clinical, supportive services.
  • Actively facilitates communication between the clinical facilities and departments.
  • Oversees program activities related to patient care, planning and organization changes.
  • Directs treatment activities and services in accordance with corporate policies and budget.
  • Responsible for creation, implementation and achievement of annual goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and finance to review the annual budget and provide feedback as needed.
  • Analyzes and reports key indicators to the CEO on a regular basis, with additional ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Facilitates weekly staff meetings as needed.
  • Represents the organization at meetings outside the facility as assigned by the CEO.
  • Actively promotes organization services to other businesses and organizations in the catchment area.
  • Serves as a resource to the surrounding community by advocating for substance use disorder services and speaking to service clubs and professional groups.
  • Collaborates with the appropriate teams in the development of news releases and marketing materials for all ShareHouse, In. facilities.
  • Serve on committees as assigned by the Board of Directors and/or CEO.
  • Supports clinical staff to achieve quality client care, including reviewing referral information, providing direct services, assisting with complex cases and on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s level degree is preferred.
  • Must have two-years clinical supervisory experience, five years continuous experience in the addiction treatment field.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
  • Clinical licensure in the state of North Dakota or Minnesota is required.
  • Supervisory licensure status preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured according to company insurance standards.

Director of Finance: Full-Time (FARGO)

Full Job Description

ShareHouse, Inc, ranked the Best Treatment Facility in the Region, is seeking a Director of Finance/Accounting to join our team. This person will assure that the assigned day-to-day workflow in the Finance Department is processed in a consistent and timely manner. In addition, the Director of Finance will ensure that our financial functions meet state and federal regulations.

Duties of the Role:
  • Manage Finance Department staff as assigned including hiring, performance management and training.
  • Will prepare and submit regular and annual reports.
  • Maintain and keep current Finance Department policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal control systems.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures and internal control systems.
  • Oversee and manage month-end close and year-end close. Oversee and direct preparation for all audits.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, analyses and other management reports on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
  • Review internal financial statements with staff and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor agency contracts and compliance with all grant requirements.
  • Oversee the accounting, billing and payroll departments.
  • Responsible for budget development and financial assessment to current and future programs and ventures and in the development of the annual budget.
  • Lead finance team in analyzing opportunities to improve business performance and effectiveness.
  • Will oversee Revenue Cycle management
  • Direct the day to day functions of the Revenue Cycle to assure timeliness and accuracy of billing functions and improve cash collections.
  • Oversee and maintain department-specific software including: general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, grants management, plant ledger and others as appropriate.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum requirements are four-year Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting and five years’ experience in an accounting related field, preferably in Not-for-profit or Cost Accounting.
  • Candidates with their CPA are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Director of Finance, VP of Finance of CFO, or a Management or Financial Leadership position.
Experience in the following:
  • Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, aggressive problem solving, and proven ability to prioritize, lead projects, and develop an in-depth understanding of the production environment.
  • Must have experience in insurance, credentialiing, and managing the complexity of hospital billing cycles (revenue cycle).
  • Excellent writing skills with ability to present high level data and information to senior level staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial and cost accounting including comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise and easily understandable reports, worksheets and analyses.
  • Proficiency in multi-layered budget preparation.
  • A demonstrated teamwork style approach to leading with outstanding abilities in relationship building, and coaching/developing the team is essential.
  • Experience with state and federal grants management, reporting and compliance.
  • Experience in a public health care or community clinic setting & knowledge of fiscal administration as applied to health care operations, preferred.

  • Conduct assessments to determine client treatment needs

  • Develop materials for and facilitate client group meetings such as 12 step, relapse prevention, trauma, parenting, spirituality, etc., to assist in sobriety and wellness
