Foundation Director

ShareHouse is seeking a results oriented and driven leader who has a passion for engaging with people and meeting fundraising goals. The individual should have experience and demonstrated success in all aspects of fundraising, including the ability to solicit and closing major gifts, planned gifts, and planned gifts. In addition, this person will help lead the ShareHouse Foundation, a group of eight community leaders dedicated to fundraising and public awareness for the better of ShareHouse.

Essential Job Duties include:

  • Develop and execute ShareHouse’s annual fundraising activities to raise at least $350,000 annually to support organizational growth and program development.
  • Manage a portfolio of prospective donors including; one third major donors, one third annual donors, and one third corporate sponsors (Potential donors will include both established and prospective donors).
  • Partner with ShareHouse Executive Coordinator to research, assemble, and submit 15-20 annual grants to philanthropic and state/federal entities.
  • Drive specific major gift/planned giving strategies, presentations, materials and stewardship plans; collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve all philanthropic goals.
  • Responsible for in-depth prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
  • Work with ShareHouse Executive Coordinator to manage and update a detailed donor database hosted on Blackbaud.
  • Provide all related data collection, input, analyses, and reporting to the ShareHouse Foundation’s Board of Directors and CEO.
  • Oversee implementation and evaluations of campaigns for major and planned donors.
  • Recruit, orient, and retain board members for the ShareHouse Foundation Board of Directors to ensure appropriate representation and diversity.
  • Establish and meet annual budget goals.
  • Serve as a member of ShareHouse Executive Leadership Team with direct reporting to ShareHouse President/CEO.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree.
  • 3+ years in fundraising with an emphasis in major and planned gifts (Comparable experience in sales or public relations may suffice based upon role/sector).
  • Demonstrated success securing major and planned gifts.
  • Strong major, annual, planned giving experience with a proven track record of successfully meeting revenue goals, and soliciting gifts of $10,000 or more.
  • Proven ability to identify and cultivate prospects and close major gifts.
  • Proven success working across organizations and developing relationships on all levels.
  • Availability to work during operational hours with the expectation to work varied hours including evenings or weekends when needed.
  • Outstanding presentation, verbal and written skills that effectively engage and persuade individuals/groups from all backgrounds.
  • Valid Driver’s license.

Payroll Coordinator

The payroll coordinator maintains timekeeping data on the automated timekeeping system, imports timekeeping data into payroll software, accurately processes and submits payroll information to the payroll vendor in a timely manner, updates payroll/personnel information, provides reports to management and other agencies as needed, and various projects as assigned.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Processing and submitting payroll-related information to payroll vendor on a scheduled basis to ensure timely delivery of payroll to employees
  • Monitoring and maintaining information in automated timekeeping system, importing timekeeping data into payroll processing software, providing correct information to payroll vendor resulting in accurate payroll results for employees.
  • Processing employee timekeeping data from the automated timekeeping system to payroll, and reconciling variances utilizing established tools and procedures to ensure timely processing and accurate information.
  • Updating payroll and timekeeping records in conjunction with Human Resources by entering changes into corresponding databases and software, ensuring accurate information for payroll processing.
  • Works with Human Resources department to resolve payroll and timekeeping discrepancies, and answer employee questions to ensure accuracy of information and employee satisfaction.
  • Processes and distributes payroll reports to management and outside agencies to provide information as needed.
  • Provides and maintains reliable and prompt attendance.

  • Requires vocational or trade school certification in related field or
  • Two years relevant work experience

Duties include monitoring of residential daily activities, monitoring medications, performing random drug/alcohol tests, conducting new resident orientations, room checks, greeting visitors, answering phones, performing intake duties, light maintenance/housekeeping and special projects as assigned.

 

This is a part-time position working variable hours based on need and availability and is a great position for students or candidates seeking a second job.  We are also looking for a consistent overnight person for weekend shifts.   Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must be 18 years or older. Wage is dependent on experience.

  • Coordinate with our treatment team which includes nursing, admissions, social work, therapy, and psychiatry to complete and provide assessments, evaluations, case management, group/individual therapy, and discharge plans.

This position will serve as a part-time/float/pro re nata Licensed Addiction Counselor who will assess clients’ chemical usage and treatment needs as well as educate and support the clients and their families.
