Getting Started

Start Here, Judgement Free

Getting started can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re looking for help for yourself or someone you care about. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

We’re one of the region’s largest providers of substance use disorder treatment, offering a full, connected network of care designed to meet people where they are. Because our services work together, individuals can move between levels of care without starting over. As needs change, care can change too—with a team that understands the full picture every step of the way.

It’s okay not to know where to start. Give us a call or fill out our contact form, and our team will help you understand your options and what to do next.

For Families & Loved Ones

It is common for the first call to come from someone concerned about a loved one. You do not need all the answers before reaching out. If you are noticing changes, feeling concerned, or unsure what to do, that is enough to start the conversation.

Our team will help you understand available options, and how to support someone who may need care.

The First Step: Assessment

Every treatment journey begins with an assessment. This is how we understand what is going on and determine the level of care that will be most effective.

If you do not already have one, ShareHouse offers assessments at our Fargo Outpatient Clinic. These are available as walk-ins during clinic hours or by scheduled appointment. For those not in the immediate Fargo-Moorhead area, Telehealth assessment options are available.
