ShareHouse 2025 Annual Report
Reflecting on 50 Years of Recovery, Excellence, and Forward Momentum
Reflecting on 2025 and Celebrating 50 Years of Service
As we reflect on 2025, the ShareHouse team is filled with deep gratitude for the individuals we serve, our dedicated staff, our generous donors, and the many partners who support our work. This year marked a meaningful milestone as ShareHouse celebrated 50 years of service in behavioral health, honoring a legacy built on compassion, accountability, and recovery‑focused care.
Since 1975, ShareHouse has remained committed to walking alongside individuals and families on their recovery journeys. Throughout our anniversary year, we celebrated both where we have been and where we are going. A community celebration held at the Downtown Fargo Square in June brought together alumni, families, partners, and supporters to recognize the thousands of lives touched over five decades of service.
Strengthening Our Foundation Through Innovation and Access
A major advancement in 2025 was the transition to a new electronic health record (EHR) system. This investment represents a significant step forward in our ability to better understand outcomes, improve documentation, and enhance record‑keeping across all levels of care. With more robust data and streamlined workflows, our teams are better equipped to deliver high‑quality, responsive services while positioning ShareHouse for continued growth and accountability.
- A dedicated telehealth outpatient group
- Telehealth mental health services
- Substance use disorder assessments delivered via telehealth
These services allow ShareHouse to reach individuals across North Dakota and Minnesota, reducing barriers to care and improving access for rural and underserved communities.
Exceptional Quality and a Rare Accreditation Outcome
Quality and accountability have long been cornerstones of ShareHouse’s work. Since first achieving CARF accreditation in 2019, ShareHouse has consistently demonstrated conformance to internationally recognized standards for behavioral health and addiction treatment services.
In November 2025, ShareHouse completed its most recent CARF accreditation survey and received official confirmation of a three‑year accreditation with zero recommendations. During this survey, CARF reviewers evaluated ShareHouse against more than 1,700 individual standards, spanning governance, leadership, clinical practice, service delivery, safety, documentation, and organizational performance.
Receiving zero recommendations means that ShareHouse was found to meet or exceed every applicable standard reviewed during the survey process — an outcome that reflects not only compliance, but excellence across all areas of operation.
This level of performance is exceptionally rare. Surveys resulting in zero recommendations occur in only approximately 3% of CARF reviews internationally, placing ShareHouse among a very small group of accredited organizations worldwide. This achievement reflects the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork demonstrated by staff at every level of the organization, as well as ShareHouse’s sustained commitment to continuous improvement over multiple accreditation cycles.
Further reinforcing this commitment to excellence, ShareHouse became the first addiction treatment provider in North Dakota to join the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) in 2025. NAATP membership reflects adherence to national best practices, ethical leadership, and evidence‑based standards across the continuum of care.
Expanding Capacity and Enhancing the Client Experience
In response to growing community need, ShareHouse completed a Fargo Residential Campus reorganization in 2025. These changes were designed to improve efficiency, enhance the client experience, and allow ShareHouse to serve more individuals at the residential level of care. This work reflects ShareHouse’s ongoing commitment to adaptability, thoughtful growth, and person‑centered services.
Engaging the Community and Promoting Awareness
Community engagement remained a cornerstone of ShareHouse’s work in 2025. In addition to hosting signature events, ShareHouse continued educational outreach to local high schools, providing information about behavioral health services and ensuring students are aware of available supports should they ever find themselves in need of care.
- The annual Alumni Picnic, celebrating recovery, connection, and continued support
- The 2nd annual Rise and Shine Recovery Breakfast in October, where alumni, partners, and leadership shared stories of impact and hope
- Planning for the inaugural Fairway Fore Recovery Golf Classic, scheduled for June 2026
These efforts strengthen community relationships, increase awareness, and generate critical support for ShareHouse programs and services.
Looking Ahead
As ShareHouse moves into 2026, the organization does so with clarity, momentum, and an eye toward continued evolution. In the coming year, ShareHouse will engage in a strategic plan refresh, ensuring priorities remain aligned with emerging needs, best practices, and long‑term sustainability.
As part of this forward‑looking work, ShareHouse will also be exploring opportunities to expand the current continuum of care it provides, with the goal of strengthening service integration and meeting community needs more comprehensively across existing and emerging levels of treatment.
