Outpatient Treatment Services

ShareHouse outpatient treatment services are designed to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey by offering flexible, supportive care options that fit into daily life. Services are offered in person at our Fargo Outpatient Clinic, with many programs also available virtually through telehealth for greater accessibility and convenience.

Walk-In Assessments

Telehealth Services

Telehealth services are available for North Dakota residents. Services include Intensive Outpatient groups, individual counseling sessions, and virtual assessments.

Virtual group sessions are held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What Clients Can Expect

ShareHouse utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach across all outpatient services. Patients have contact with addiction counselors, mental health counselors, case managers and nurses.

Programming focuses on helping individuals develop healthy coping skills, identify relapse triggers, build a personalized recovery plan, strengthen emotional wellness, and establish long-term recovery supports through self-help groups, sponsorship, and community involvement.

Levels of Outpatient Care

Every client must complete a comprehensive assessment before beginning services. Explore the levels of Outpatient care below.

Medically Managed Intensive Outpatient

This level of care provides highly structured outpatient treatment with medical oversight for individuals who require intensive support while remaining in the community.

High-Intensity Outpatient (HIOP)

Also referred to as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment, this level provides approximately 20 hours of programming per week, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Programming provides approximately 9 hours of treatment programming over three sessions per week and is offered during both daytime and evening hours.

Medically Managed Outpatient

Low-Intensity Outpatient Programming provides approximately 6 hours of programming per week over two evening sessions. Intensive Outpatient and Low-Intensity Outpatient services are provided within the same group setting and with the same counselor, allowing for seamless transitions between levels of care without interrupting the therapeutic relationship.

Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient Therapy services provide individual counseling and continued recovery support based on each person’s unique needs and treatment goals.

Long-Term Remission Monitoring

Relapse Prevention and Continuing Care groups meet weekly to help individuals maintain long-term recovery, strengthen support systems, process challenges, and continue building independence and accountability in daily life.

RR Recovery Residence

Recovery Residence services provide a supportive living environment for individuals who benefit from additional accountability, peer support, and structure while continuing their recovery journey.
