Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead
As we look back on 2024, the ShareHouse team is deeply grateful for the individuals we serve, our dedicated teammates, generous donors, and valued community partners. This past year has been another opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping individuals and families on their journey toward recovery. Your continued support and commitment to our mission are truly appreciated. In 2023 changes to our Leadership Team occurred, culminating in the formal establishment of our Senior Leadership Team in 2024. This strategic step has enhanced our decision-making process, allowing for a more agile response to both client and community needs. With a conscious commitment to reinvestment, our leadership has allocated more resources back into the organization than in any recent year. This investment has led to the addition of several new operational support roles, directly benefiting our most important priority—our clients.
Clinical Achievements and Growth
In the past year ShareHouse provided services to 1,484 unique clients and facilitated over 177,000 interactions with those individuals. Maintaining our high standard of quality remains a top priority, and we continue to uphold our multidisciplinary approach while offering client-driven options for care, programming, and services. We also expanded our telehealth capabilities, adapted our clinical psychology services to address standalone mental health needs, and assisted in significantly increasing the number of addiction counselor trainees in the state— from single digits to over 30. This expansion not only strengthens ShareHouse but also enhances the broader field of addiction services, addressing the critical need for workforce development in behavioral health.
Supporting Our Mission Through Community Engagement
Our charitable gaming and foundation initiatives have played a crucial role in expanding our services. A major highlight of 2024 was our inaugural ‘Rise and Shine Recovery Breakfast’ in October. This event provided a platform for alumni, partners, and our CEO to share the profound impact of ShareHouse within the community. The generous donations received from this event have directly supported our ongoing efforts to address behavioral health needs.
Exciting Plans for 2025
Looking ahead, ShareHouse is poised for even greater impact in 2025. With the additional support roles added this year, we are better equipped to serve those in need. Early in the year, we will implement new internal systems to enhance clinical outcomes, expand telehealth services, and focus on strengthening the behavioral health workforce throughout the region. As our workforce grows, so too will the accessibility and quality of services available to our communities.
Additionally, in 2025, ShareHouse will become a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), reinforcing our commitment to excellence in addiction treatment. Furthermore, we will undergo our third accreditation survey since 2019 by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), as our current accreditation is due for renewal in August. Both NAATP membership and CARF accreditation serve as testaments to the high standards and expectations our communities have for ShareHouse services.
A Milestone Year: 50 Years of Commitment
In 2025, we proudly celebrate 50 years of dedicated service in behavioral health. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care, supporting recovery, and fostering hope for individuals and families in need. As we reflect on our journey—where we’ve been and where we’re headed—we are filled with gratitude. We extend our sincere appreciation to the many partners and supporters who make our work possible. We look forward to the opportunities the new year will bring as we continue to expand and enhance our services, ensuring a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
