National Recovery Month
September is National Recovery Month. During this time, we are supporting the recovery community and the service providers who help along the way. There are many different treatment options for those seeking recovery, and we know not one size fits all. The service providers who help those decide the best path to take for recovery are essential. Their work and dedication are not going unnoticed. When we are working together for one main goal, we can move mountains!
We know that recovery is not an easy journey, and that’s why we are taking this time to celebrate those who are seeking recovery services now or have been through treatment. As mentioned before, we know recovery looks different for everyone. That’s why at ShareHouse we offer a variety of services to help individuals with a Substance Use Disorder or Mental Illness. We also are a Co-Occurring Disorders facility so we can provide care for individuals with both a Substance Use Disorder and a Mental Illness at the same time. Our services include, but are not limited to, Medication-Assisted Treatment, Mental Health, Residential, Outpatient, and Recovery Living. It is our mission to meet individuals where they’re at and get them on the best road for their recovery.
Our services only go so far though, and in the end it’s up to the strength and endurance of the individual to make their recovery possible. Recovery requires strength, bravery, and perseverance. That’s why we observe National Recovery Month at ShareHouse as a reminder of those who fought the good fight and won!
That being said, we ask that you join us in celebrating ShareHouse Alum Thane’s success story! He received treatment through ShareHouse four years ago and has been thriving ever since! He has come full circle in recovery and we’re incredibly proud of him and his hard work and perseverance!
“Going into ShareHouse I was so broken, just a hollow shell of a person. I never imagined living my life without alcohol. The friendly and caring staff made me not only feel safe, but also comfortable. I completed the treatment plan and was actually sad to be leaving. I will forever be grateful to ShareHouse, they cared for me when I couldn’t care for myself.” -Thane S., ShareHouse Alum.
For those who know someone in recovery, or maybe you are in recovery yourself, we see you. We support you. It’s never an easy journey, but recovery will always be worth it in the end.
For the service providers, thank you. Thank you for your passion, your patience, and your dedication to individuals in recovery. Where would we be without your efforts? Thank you for providing encouragement to your clients and working for the greater good of all individuals seeking recovery services.
During National Recovery month, we ask that if you’re interested in helping people like Thane, please donate to ShareHouse. Your donation will have a direct, positive effect on individuals seeking treatment at ShareHouse.
