ShareHouse has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant through the 2026 Lowe’s Community Impact Grant Program. The funding will support the construction of two outdoor green spaces at ShareHouse, creating welcoming environments where clients and staff can reflect, connect, and support overall well-being.

The project will feature gazebos, patios, and new landscaping designed to provide calm, restorative spaces that complement ShareHouse’s comprehensive addiction recovery and mental health services. By creating intentional areas for connection and reflection, the improvements will further ShareHouse’s work to help individuals build stable, healthy lives – knowing recovery is possible.

It is also about creating spaces where people can pause, connect and begin to envision what comes next,” said Jeremy Traen, CEO of ShareHouse. “This support from Lowe’s will help us create outdoor environments that reflect the dignity, hope and community at the heart of recovery. As part of the project, associates from a local Lowe’s store will participate in a Red Vest Day, volunteering onsite to help bring a portion of the improvements to life. ShareHouse will share project updates and progress throughout the fall using #HowLowesHelps.

The Lowe’s Community Impact Grant Program is a five-year, $100 million commitment to renovating and revitalizing community spaces across the country. Now in its fifth year, the program’s 2026 projects represent 90 communities in 38 states and include parks, community centers, food pantries, first-responder facilities, spaces serving veterans, and other places that strengthen local communities.
